Art that Heals: Olympia Women's Multicare Health Clinic Art Installation
The new women’s Mulitcare facility in Olympia is for women, by women and a true place of care and healing. A vision of the late Angela Bowen, a leader, advocate and legend in so many of Olympia’s communities.
I was honored last night at the opening of the gallery showcase featuring 8 local women artists whose work was chosen to adorn the lobby and exam rooms throughout the building.
Art does make a difference, as one physician shared with me with tears in her eyes that her patience often comment on the calming effect of my water artwork while facing difficult health issues. To be able to bring calmness and comfort through artwork is at the heart of my mission, and this is the perfect place to share it.
I’m grateful to be a part of this special place along with women artists, all of whom are now friends 🤗

Thank you @lara_reddoor for putting together this collection of art and honoring us. The best place for my art is a place where it can bring calm and healing, where women in my community can benefit from it most 💗🙏
What a pleasure to meet the women leaders, physicians and staff who are truly making a difference in our community ❤️ @multicarehealth
