This oil painting is part of my summer series of plein air works.
Each painting was painted on site in the elements, unlike many of my other works which I paint in the studio.
A stunning view looking over the Pend Orielle River in Dover Idaho. I rode a scooter then hiked to reach this view point and was able to catch the last light in this painting, with cold fingers and excitement.
