The Salish sea is a special and unique environment on earth. Protected salty bays flow far from the open ocean and are filled with beautiful, interesting creatures and environments. This moody scene is from winter, when clouds and gray are often part of the everyday in the Pacific Northwest.
Dramatic beauty on the calm waters of the bay with low forested islands and hills.
I spent a year living and working from my studio right on the bay, and was always inspired by what was right outside.
