This painting was inspired on the Washington State coast. The dark sand draws up in the wave and creates the dark ombre glow that fades into the soft sea green.
To me, watching the waves crash on the shore filled with sunlight and movement is one of the most awe inspiring movements in nature. The endless sea arriving to shore in a glowing spectacle.
