I am so enchanted by where the forest meets the sea near my home on the coast of Washington. The fluid movement of the sea illuminated in fading light, and glowing in gold is something I've longed to paint.
Being by the sea at golden hour is a time so many of us cherish. This is not an actual place, but an idea I had of a sunlit ocean wave crashing close to shore with rugged sea stacks and coastal pines of Canada, Washington and Oregon.
After spending years traveling the world, both by boat and land, I returned to one of them most stunning coasts to capture is unique and stunning beauty.
