This oil painting is part of my summer series of plein air works.
Each painting was painted on site in the elements, unlike many of my other works which I paint in the studio.
This one was painted on the Quinault River in a beautiful secluded swimming hole looking up river. I hiked into this spot and forded the river for this view. Perhaps my most daring location!
