Inspired at Damon Point, one of my favorite beaches to visit in Ocean Shores on the Washington State coast. The waves break close to shore and the lighting here in the afternoon is beautiful.
This painting has more earth tones and darker foreground than my others, making this painting more dramatic. The light filled waves tie in with the ochre background making for a stunning composition. The draw of this painting is the PNW greenish waters. A perfect piece of art of the Washington Coast for neutral home decor.
