Capturing the folding foam and glowing water of the Pacific Ocean on the Washington coast near Westport, WA. This is an acrylic painting and it really shows the beautiful folding foam and the bright blue shadows in the white foam with the earth tones of the sanding water coming through.
I love this composition also, the way we are above and see the wrapping of the waves and their glowing, swirling nature.
I started this painting at an art show, the first time I've painted in a public setting, and then I finished it in the studio.
